Adriana Vitale has been a repeat vocalists in this series of albums and this is the 2nd Ellie Goulding song I've done. I guess I like both these artists.
As with Sugar & Princess of China, I'm trying to use very simple C64 waveforms and particularly avoiding PWM for some reason. I still don't know why. I'm also avoiding the typical arpeggio effect. Perhaps its not so much avoid rather these songs so far just haven't needed those kinds of sounds. I don't think I'm consciously arranging these to exclude any type of effect.

I was a demoscene programmer back in the 80s on the Commodore 64 computer. Part of what I did was write a sound player to
exploited tricks to make its sound chip to some conceptually far fetched tricks.
Years later, I've revived my musical bent for the C64 but now I combine modern songs with these sounds of one of the greatest sounding computers of any generation....more
